Promotional Campaign
To promote our brand new business “MumTime” we will distribute flyers and posters around the local area to catch the attention of our potential local clients. We will also post a half page ad in the local newspaper for a period of time, probably twice a week for one month as this gives everyone plenty of time to see what the business is about and decide whether or not they would like to join.
If the possible customers are still not sure whether or not they could benefit from, or use our facilities, they will be offered a complimentary one day entry pass to use and experience the facilities that we have to offer.
To draw customers in we will be offering a free opening day barbeque which will also allow perspective customers to join us in a guided tour of the fitness centre, crèche and facilities on offer. Customers will also have the opportunity to sign up on the day which will benefit them as for the one day only; MumTime will be waiving the membership fee and only charging for the weekly/fortnightly/monthly/yearly usage.
In addition to this, there will be an electronic sign outside MumTime which will have all of the details about our opening day listed on it for people who are walking or driving past. Once the opening day has passed, this sign will be used to promote the business and state future promotions or membership fees.
Types of costs that might be incurred:
Printing of flyers and posters
Cost of newspaper advertising
Loss of income from discounted offers
Loss of income from free sausage sizzles
Electricity
Cost of staff to promote business (hand out flyers, run sausage sizzle
Electronic Sign
Postage
