OPPORTUNITIES:
Our new business will offer us an opportunity to expand and open up in other suburbia locations throughout WA which could lead to becoming an Australian-wide business. In doing so this will allow a larger attraction of an audience to recognise what we can offer and the convenience that will come along with it.
Future ideas for the expansion of the business may incorporate a healthy café, a supplement shop and a partnership with a weight loss program such as Weight Watchers. This will further promote a healthier and balanced lifestyle which ideally all clients will want to achieve.
THREATS:
A population decrease in the area, can affect the business in the long term.
If there are too many local competitors allowing our clients to go elsewhere this can potentially threat the business particularly when there is Curves, who already target our women audience or Jetts Fitness with a 24hour service.
While the gym is up and running and business is potentially advances; if we encounter a shortage with our equipment this too can drive our clients elsewhere which too can affect the business.
